INGREDIENTS

Shuddha Gairika: Gairikam is one of the safest naturally occurring minerals. It’s mostly known for its pitta shamak quality. Gairika forms a coating over the mucous membrane of the stomach and helps in rejuvenating the cells. The analgesic and fast healing property of gairikam is utilised here for maximum benefits .

 

Sita:  Mishri is a natural and refreshing coolant in nature.  It is widely celebrated for its healing properties to alleviate cold and sore throat. It aids the process of digestion and used as a mouth freshener.

 

Trivrit: Trivrit or Indian Jalap is an important drug included among the purgatives as it helps to increase peristaltic movements in the body and the bio-purification of kapha and pitta dosha. Trivrit has been used to treat gastrointestinal disturbances such as constipation, chronic abdominal distention, ascites, inflammations, and peptic ulcers. They are also useful in bronchitis, paralysis, haemorrhoids, and jaundice. Due to its hot potency, it exhibits

anti-inflammatory activity.

 

Lavanga: Clove is a traditional medicine that has incredible healing properties. The rich bioactive components in clove help to combat microbes and fortify the body against various infections and uplift overall health .Clove provides immediate relief from pain, and other digestive problems like abdominal distension, flatulence, gastric irritability and dyspepsia.

 

Tej Patra: Tej patra helps in reducing heartburn by neutralizing excessive gastric acid due to its cold property. It aids digestion due to its deepana nature and protective against flatulence. Haritaki: Haritaki is one of the universally acclaimed drugs of triphala that is highly beneficial for regular use with different adjuvants. The use of Haritaki results in Shivam i.e everything good. It is the best fruit that is capable of managing the deranged doshas by the combination of 5 rasas. It is rejuvenating, astringent, purgative, stomachic, and laxative and is useful in treatment of fever, constipation, asthma, abdominal distention, piles, and cough.

 

Bibhitaki: Bibhitaki is an integral part of laxative formulations in ayurveda.It helps in the absorption of essential nutrients and plays a vital role in treating anomalies like constipation, abdominal distention, gastritis, ulcer and so on. It is used as an antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiarrheal, anticancer, antidiabetic, antihypertensive and hepatoprotective agent.

 

Amalaki: Amla or Indian gooseberry is a multi-faceted plant that is considered a potent rejuvenator and enlivens the body. The fruit is astringent in taste and is useful in dyspepsia, gastritis, hyperacidity, constipation, colitis, haemorrhoids, hematuria, diabetes, cough and asthma.

 

Maricha: Maricha is described as an analgesic and an appetizer as it increases appetite , enhances digestion and circulation. Its thermogenic action promotes agni which destroys the harmful toxins and revitalizes the metabolism, thereby naturally restoring gut health.

Black pepper is said to have pramathi guna i.e., it forcefully expels out the toxins from the body. It is frequently used in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma, ulcers. 


Pippali: Pippali is a prominent drug useful in dyspepsia, anorexia, loss of appetite, constipation, abdominal colic, chronic fever, asthma, bronchitis, spleen disorders, liver disorders, respiratory disease, anemia, oedema and paralysis. Besides these therapeutic effects, they also act as an anti-irritant, analgesic and hepatoprotective herb.

DOSAGE

1.5 gm. before meals BD or as directed by the physician
